To revamp the style of Facebook/Instagram since 2015 and get more engagement, I have referred the WSE of other countries. I tried use different topics without traditional English tips and mention more about daily life, with more graphic and infographic, instead of photos, to enhanced the quality and the brand image. Facebook Users in Hong Kong is not too active for the normal or boring topics. Soft selling and daily life related content are more popular.

With the different daily life topics and campaigns with limited budget, we got more post engagements. Average post reach in 2015 is around 400, 2300 in 2016. More people leave comments and share the posts.
Started from July 2015 till December 2016, we got more than 5200 Facebook fans, 1000 Instagram followers.

I have suggested the following ideas in the beginning of 2015:

  • To generate leads, add the free offer with call to action cleanly (soft-selling), or promote workshop/free trial
  • Change the serial topics to daily-related content, e.g. festival, travel, daily life, trends, try change the traditional boring English tips to e-book.
  • Using hashtag to store the serial contents or campaigns.
  • Do the monthly giveaway which can try different formats to test the engagement, e.g level comment, post a photo, writing, share the posts to tag friends
  • Do the yearly giveaway, which can build the brand image/awareness

Since 2025, I helped on the materials support for social media, including video editing and graphics.
Student review campaign is the latest one in 2025. I helped on the video editing, also provide suggestion on the video shooting, visuals for the feeds on social media, and updates on the website.
